HOUSE SYSTEM
In the 2023-2024 school year we announced the start of the House System at Bishop DuBourg. Students were assigned to one of four houses, each named after a key figure in the Catholic church: St. Anthony of Padua, St. Francis, St. Oscar Romero, and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. This system aims to build community and foster friendly competition, with the house earning the most points by the end of the year winning the prestigious DuBourg House Trophy. Each house embodies the values of its patron saint—St. Anthony’s focus is on poverty, St. Francis commitment is to the environment, St. Oscar Romero’s dedication is to justice, and St. Elizabeth Seton’s emphasis is on education. Despite their different focuses, all houses unite with a common goal: to honor the charism of their saint through various service projects.
