Job Opening -
FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCE TEACHER
Now accepting applications for a Family and Consumer Science teacher for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Foods & Nutrition, and Child Development classes. This is a part-time, Monday-Friday position.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
-Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences or Education preferred. Applicants with an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience are welcome to apply.
-Valid Missouri teaching certification (Grades 9-12) or ability to become certified
-Three or more successful years of teaching experience preferred but NOT required
- Dedication and enthusiasm to help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able and responsible men and women
-Ability to collaborate with colleagues to support the mission of the school and promote academic excellence
-Effectively manage the classroom environment
-Differentiate instruction to challenge and meet the needs of all students
