New President Appointed

On November 26, 2012 Superintendent of Catholic Education George Henry, and Associate Superintendent for Secondary School Administration Dr. Robert Oliveri, announced the role of President at Bishop DuBourg High School would be filled by Reverend Michael Lydon upon the retirement of Mr. Kirk Boschert effective June 30, 2013.

Early in his priesthood, Fr. Mike served Bishop DuBourg as a teacher, coach, and activities sponsor providing direction to the students for the school. He also has had experience as a pastor serving St. Pius V. Over the last seven years Fr. Lydon has been the Vice-President for Faith Formation at DB, providing service and leadership to staff members and students in all areas related to our faith. During his time at DB, Fr. Lydon has take a primary role in developing and leading the strategic planning process, supporting the financial development of the school, and advancing the mission of DB. Fr. Lydon holds degrees from University of Missouri St. Louis, a Masters of Divinity and Arts in Spirituality with an emphasis in Church History form Kenrick Seminary.

Fr. Mike has the knowledge and relationships to immediately address the needs and challenges of the school. He has great support from the faculty, alums, and parents.
