What is the Parents' Prayer Group?
We are a group of parents of DB students who want our kids to make good choices and to do their best and make the most of these incredible, formative years.
What do we do at our meetings?
We acknowledge God as being in charge of and present in our lives and in the lives of our families. We have a few moments of silent contemplation, read a passage from either the Bible or other Christian book and discuss the reading. Sometimes we talk about what is going on in our lives or current school activities. Then, we write our petitions and ask God's blessing on all of our concerns and hopes. We end each meeting with an Our Father, and ask God to bless all of our students, faculty, and staff of Bishop DuBourg.
If you would like to join us, please come to a session. There is no commitment to attend every meeting. Come when you are available.
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm in the 4th Floor Chapel (at the west end of the building). Our meetings typically last about an hour.

I encourage you to join with us in prayer, but if you can not make it to any meetings, please keep the kids of DB, the other parents, teachers, and administrators in your personal prayers. We're all in this together and need each other's support. God's blessings to all of you!
