Mike Meyer '70
Mike Meyer (’70) is currently the Group Director of Brewing Engineering and Technology Development for Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc.

Mike attended Bishop DuBourg High School from 1967 to 1970.  After graduating in 1970 he attended the University of Missouri - Rolla (UMR) where he received his BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1975.  He later received his MBA from St. Louis University in 1988.  Finally he was honored with a Professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UMR in 2000…one of the highest degrees the University offers.

In his current job at Anheuser-Busch, Mike is responsible for all Brewing Engineering pertaining to Process Design and Technology Development.  Throughout his career Mike has made significant contributions to the growth of Anheuser-Busch from a 40 million barrel/year Company to over 100 million barrels today.  He claims to have the best job in the world.

Mike is Past President of numerous organizations, including the Honorary Academy of Mechanical Engineers (UMR), the Master Brewers Association of the Americas (District St. Louis), the St. Vincent De Paul Society (Assumption Parish), and the Bishop DuBourg School Board.

One of Mike’s favorite loves is the time he spends helping others.  In particular the time he donates in fundraising and service to Angels’ Arms an organization that provides homes and services to foster children.  He gets no greater joy than that which he receives when he brings a smile to the face of one of these children.

Mike and his wife Mary have three daughters…Maureen, Melissa and Molly and one handsome grandson Clayton (five months old).  His wife Mary (’70), Maureen (’96), Melissa (’99) all graduated from Bishop DuBourg High School.

Mike is an avid sports enthusiast and frequently participates in racquetball, volleyball, biking and weight lifting.  He enjoys riding in the Missouri Multiple Sclerosis MS150 bike ride each fall.  His future plans (upon retirement) are to participate in MS150 rides in all 50 states (God willing).
